Welcome to the PPP

The Pagan Poetry Pages is entering its 8th year in 2009; founded by three Irishwomen Dawn, Socarie and Beirn it was created to be a space on the web devoted to the concept of Pagan poetry and the Pagan Poetrry Movement. The definition of "pagan poetry" is necessarily very wide; it can be defined as the expression of man's condition in relation to his physical environment or simply a poem written by a pagan.
The PPP has undergone several incarnations; the current editorial staff consists of Beirn Stormy and Starchild.
Here on the PPP the living movement of poetry in the Pagan Community - and prose, shorts stories and Journals - is presented for your enjoyment. Our members section provides an archive of work, the chance to discuss poetry and books, present your work for feedback or simply enjoy the work of other writers.
Our Editions, 8 times a year, are chosen from both members work and outside submissions to editors@paganpoetrypages.com

MEMBERS SECTION; we have an active lively members section. Poets and writers are always welcome so sign up today. Please note there is one rule - you MUST post an introduction, it just means we can get to know a bit about you. Other than that, all you have to do is read, post and enjoy the site!

Wednesday, September 17, 2008 (09:41:29)
Pagan Poetry News The PPP anthology submissions deadline is November 10th 2008

Yes it's actually happening Smile

Here's how it works

We need YOUR help.

We need you to submit the poems you are most proud of, either already showcased here at PPP or new poetry. Don;t worry about type, or theme, laeve that to us Smile worry about what poems you really really like.

If you see a poem from another PPP poet that you love, also bring that to our attention

submit by PM here
or to ppp@anfianna.com

1.
mark your submissions CLEARLY - including the NAME YOU WANT TO BE PUBLISHED UNDER
that is very important: you submit under "mad maddie" you get acknowledge in the anthology under Mad Maggie. We won't ahve time to double check with everyone what they want etc

2.
include a bio. it can be long or short, but it would be good to include where you live, what type of poetry you like, what inspires you, if you're had poems published elsewhere...anything on those lines.

3.
be aware, submission is hereby taken as permission to publish. The PPP will be allowed to publish any poem submitted by its author in the anthology and in other forthcoming anthologies in the future. other than that, copyright remains with the author.

SUBMIT and be part of the very first PPP anthology of Poetry

PS please don't think that you've submitted becasue you've poems on the PPP site. we need you to choose and submit - as per the above instructions - as many poems as you like, that you wish to have considered!
