How it works

Each edition coincides with a major Pagan festival eg Bealtine, Samhain, etc
Each edition also has a theme eg Bealtine 2009 is "Summer Heat"

Each edition carries poems that reflect BOTH the relevant Pagan festival and the theme.

Your best chance of being included is if your poem is relevant to either the time of year/festival or the theme

You can submit in the following ways

1. Poems posted by members are automatically considered

When a notice is posted calling for submissions to a new edition, editors will automatically include poems posted since the last edition in Scribbles or individual member folders.
If your poem has been posted, we will look and consider it. If you have a poem you would especially like considered simply PM an editor (list below) with a link to your poem.

2. Each Edition has a theme

Once the notice calling for submissions is posted and you wish to submit a poem on the currect theme for that edition, then please post your poem with the title and theme in the subject line

EG Bealtine 2009 theme "Summer Heat" you would post your poem in scribbles or your folder with "Titile" followed by (summer heat)

You can submit by posting in the forums or by pming an editor or by emailing ppp @ anfianna.com

We are also privileged from time to time to publish established poets who share their work with the PPP, poetry that may or may not be relevant to the current theme etc These poems are included as a bonus to our members. Also from time to time we feature one of our members and include a collection of their poems in the edition.
Also we hold regular competitions and the best entries are included as well.

Submitting work other than Poetry

If you write prose, short stories, articles or journals and would like to submit them please do so. They will be considered in exactly the same way as the poetry (see above) They can be posted in the Prose section or submitted via pm/email.

Anyone have ideas they'd like to submit for the Bealltin edition, such as themes, inspirations (i.e. pictures, artwork, quotes, particular characters, etc.) or challenges (i.e. take the first line of your favourite poem and alter it to suit the theme, limericks only, etc.)?

Go on ... set the challenge your fellow PPP members. Razz
